Get Involved!
Sight Learning appreciates all the help and support it receives. There are various ways of helping us: you can send help out at local eyeglass drives, you can volunteer at clinics, or you can send us old eyeglasses to us online. Why help? With every eyeglass you donate or every hour you volunteer you are helping a student across the country or maybe even across the world. We hope that you are able to help Sight Learning, whether it be by just simply donating one pair of eyeglasses.
Ways You Can Help!
1. Donate Your Used Eyeglasses
2. Volunteer with Sight Learning
3. Start a Sight Learning Club at YOUR School!
Donate Your Used Eyeglasses:
The easiest way you can help out Sight Learning is to donate your used eyeglasses. You can mail them to us directly at our PO Box, the address of which is : PO Box 60553, Irvine, CA, 92602. You can also donate them directly to an optometrist that has a Sight Learning donation bin in them. For a list of optometrists that have Sight Learning donation bins visit the “How it Works” page of our website.
Volunteer With Sight Learning:
Another more involved way to help out with Sight Learning is to volunteer with us. You can come with us on our international eye-exam clinics, help us collect and distribute eyeglasses, help us deliver eye-glass donation bins, and help us with our operations! In recognition of your volunteer work, Sight Learning will give you volunteer hours. Sight Learning is an official Presidential Volunteer Service Award certifying organization, and after a certain number of hours you can get an award signed by the President! Volunteering is also a great experience and you will learn a lot!
Start a Sight Learning Club at YOUR School!
You can start your OWN Sight Learning Club at your school. To get permission and to learn how to do so, shoot us an email by looking at our “Contact Us” page. Once you start your own club you can collect used eyeglasses at your school and local optometrists. Then you can mail us the glasses! We will reward all of your hard work with Volunteer Hours and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Get Creative and Take Charge! See the flyer below:
