The Problem

While there are 100 million people around the world who need glasses and use them every day, there are an additional 700 million people around the world who need glasses but cannot afford them. Of these 700 million people, 13 million people are children of school age who due to a lack of glasses are unable to make the most of their educational opportunities and thus are disadvantaged for the entirety of their futures.

Vision is an essential part of learning, and without it students are unfairly prevented from achieving their full potential. Sight Learning aims to solve this by donating the millions of used pairs of glasses around the world to the students who need them in order to get an education and make the most of their potential.
